On the week commencing Monday 22nd February we will start piling for the bridge over Old Colliter’s Brook. This will involve a piling rig auguring a 600mm diameter socket to a depth of approximately 14m. The auguring process is relatively quiet, with concrete delivered by standard road truck mixers and pumped into the augured hole.

The new year has seen a change at Aston fields as we have started to remove the surcharge placed on the Busway embankment last year in those locations where our monitoring has shown that settlement has finished. As this progresses, it will release following activities such as drainage which we plan to start in March.
